Our aim
Terajoule aims to meet WCAG 2.2 AA principles across this site: perceivable content, operable controls, understandable language and robust markup. The site uses semantic headings, labelled regions, visible focus states, keyboard-friendly navigation and responsive layouts.
Interaction choices
The Work and Portfolio menus reveal their sub-pages on hover or keyboard focus, while the parent links remain direct routes to each overview. Images carry alternative text where they communicate meaning. Decorative images are hidden from assistive technology. Motion is reduced when your operating system requests reduced motion.
Known limitations
Some linked external studies and third-party pages are outside Terajoule’s control. Complex model visualisations may expose more detail progressively; the surrounding page provides a text explanation and a route to the study’s own reference material.
Report a barrier
If a page, control, document or visualisation prevents you from completing a task, email admin@terajouleenergy.com with the page address and the format or assistive technology you were using. We will acknowledge the report and work toward a practical alternative.
