We are committed to strengthening the capability of the global energy modelling community. Terajoule trains analysts on today’s tools and prepares them for tomorrow’s AI enabled modelling workflows. We design and deliver courses on scenario design, system economics, network and flexibility planning, hydrogen and synthetic fuels, climate stress analysis and the responsible use of AI in energy analysis. Our teaching philosophy places reproducibility, explainability and methodological discipline at the center.
Our approach is evidence first and tool agnostic. We treat all energy carriers equally, work from continental scale down to nodes and sectors, and align our modelling with real regulatory and delivery conditions. We release methods and datasets where openness strengthens trust and improves modelling speed. As our work extends into finer subsectors, more granular geographies and new domains such as hydraulic and climate modelling, we combine supercomputing with advanced AI reasoning to accelerate credible research, shorten the distance from analysis to decision and help the sector plan faster and better.
